End of Life Product Support


Sometimes companies stop selling or supporting their products (e.g., not releasing new features, hardware or firmware, or software upgrades). At that point the product is said to be in the status of legacy, vintage, abandoned, or more commonly, End Of Life (EOL). EOL refers to the planned demise of a product due to its natural evolution from utility to obsolescence. When a product reaches end of life status and is no longer being sold, there is typically a published schedule for support for some period of time after that.

Component Repair Services

PES has the capacity to act as a repair depot facility for companies to outsource support for end of life products. This allows the product support lifecycle of the manufacturer to continue through outsourcing services long after the published schedule of support ends. PES services on EOL range from full system support to board level support for a wide range of electronics, mechanical assemblies and electro-mechanical systems.
