Customer Symptom Correlation


PES's database maintains and correlates information between errors and error symptoms, thereby providing the ability to analyze and recover a solution to a problem when it occurs. The basic structure of the database assigns fault and service codes to symptoms associated with incoming problem verification which are assigned when a solution to the fault is found or recorded. In addition to the simple correlation, other information including what part was replaced and the location of that part within the system or board as it relates to the service code. This information allows the technicians to process the repairs much quicker and the overall repair process to function smoother.
